Timberland Benelux handles the marketing and distribution of the Timberland brand in the Benelux. Timberland has offices in Belgium and in The Netherlands with, amongst others, a sales, post sales and marketing division.

Challenge

Timberland decided to call in the services of an external partner for the daily maintenance of its IT fleet. This partner was to be available in a flexible way and would have to observe the policies set down by the US and the UK. A help desk had to be made available for emergencies and for issues or questions relating to MS Office and other packages.

Solution

Monthly maintenance guarantees that the system at Timberland Benelux always contains the latest updates. Brunel itself creates controls for all recurring tasks, such as backups and antivirus updates. We also ensure the installation and upgrades of existing and new servers and work stations. Our customer now also has a help desk to respond to any questions. The latter is located in the Brunel offices in Mechelen.

Result

Thanks to the meticulous maintenance, customer costs are under control and have decreased. Any issues, which are pending, are dealt with at interventions planned in advance, and this has a positive influence on the users.
